Jonathan Kimani Tumbo, 40, of Rhome, Texas, was found at his home with a gunshot wound to the chest on the evening of Friday, September 14, 2018. Authorities classified the discovery as a homicide. Known as Junior to some, he was remembered by family and friends as a brother, father, cousin and friend.
The investigation led to the arrest of his ex-wife, Marie Kendale Kimani, who was charged with his murder. After a trial that included nearly seven days of testimony, a Wise County jury returned a unanimous guilty verdict finding Marie guilty of murdering her ex-husband. An appeal was later filed.
Are there details about Jonathan’s last day or the neighborhood around his home that anyone can share to help clarify what happened?
