Adolfo Urbina, 43, was shot and killed late the night of June 16, 2018, on the 1500 block of Misty Lane in Weslaco, Texas. Officers responding to a report of an armed subject found two men who had been shot; Urbina was pronounced dead at the scene and the other man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. Authorities say a dispute occurred between the two men, but have not released the nature of that dispute or the events leading up to the shooting.
Urbina lived in Alamo, worked for Repcon, and attended St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. He is survived by two sons, Adolfo Urbina II and Andrew Urbina, his parents Adolfo and Elva Urbina, and nine siblings. A rosary and funeral were held on June 19 and June 20, 2018, and he was buried at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
The Weslaco Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is handling the case; no arrests or suspects have been publicly identified and the investigation remains open. Does anyone have information that could help investigators bring answers to the family?
