Carlos Clark, 25, of Texarkana, Texas, was shot and killed on February 10, 2018. The shooting happened in the early morning at a gas station parking lot on State Line Avenue. Clark and another man were sitting in a car when Tyvon Montrel Gullatt, then 23, allegedly got into the back seat, pulled a gun and shot Clark in the lower back at close range. Clark and his friend fled the car, but Clark later died of his wounds.
Investigators say Gullatt had noticed a large amount of cash Clark carried earlier that night while the men were playing a dice game, then followed them to the gas station and attempted a robbery. Gullatt was arrested, indicted for murder, and later convicted and sentenced to life in prison with a $10,000 fine.
Did anyone in Texarkana see Clark or his friends the night before the shooting, or have information about the dice game and the cash he was carrying?
