Krista Kay McClellan, 21, was found shot to death on November 4, 2017, in the late evening in the parking lot of First Financial Bank in Willow Park, Texas. She was killed alongside 23-year-old Ashley Pohorence; police were called to the scene shortly after the shootings.

Police arrested 33-year-old Christopher Wall of Weatherford the next day at his parents’ house. Investigators say McClellan and Pohorence had been extorting Wall, allegedly threatening to release a recording of him soliciting sex during a massage and demanding money. The meeting in the bank parking lot was arranged to demand more money. Wall was charged with capital murder and held on $750,000 bond; authorities said the shootings were not drug-related. Investigators were seeking the alleged recording.

Friends and family described McClellan and Pohorence as kind-hearted and expressed grief and confusion over their deaths. If anyone has information about that night, the Willow Park Police Department and Parker County authorities would like to hear from you.
