Patsy Jo Rickman, 72, died unexpectedly on November 4, 2017, in Murphy, Texas. She was born December 10, 1944, to M.H. and Sally Martin and was their only child. Patsy and her husband, Tommy Leroy Rickman, both died on the same day; they had been married nearly 50 years and left two children, Miles Patrick Rickman and Rebecca Rickman Godfrey, and three grandsons.

A retired kindergarten teacher from Garland ISD, Patsy enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and country music. She was remembered as altruistic and habitually putting others first.
