Redrick Robinson, a 30-year-old African American man, was fatally shot in the early hours of September 30, 2017, inside a home on Carla Kay Drive in Belton, Texas. A 911 call reporting the shooting came in about 4:54 a.m., and Robinson was found in the master bedroom with multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators reported signs of forced entry into the residence.

Belton police identified two male suspects. One was described as medium build and about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches; a composite sketch of this individual was released. The second suspect was also medium build and estimated at 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 1 inch; no sketch was produced. Surveillance footage captured a light-colored Ford Explorer (2011 or newer) believed to be the vehicle used by the suspects, though the images were grainy. No arrests were immediately made and the case remained unsolved. Two weeks later a separate home invasion was reported in the same neighborhood; police said they did not believe the incidents were related.

Does anyone in the Belton area remember seeing a light-colored Ford Explorer or recognize the composite sketch?
