Tahbari Collins, a 20-year-old African American man from Houston, Texas, was shot and killed on August 24, 2017, while sitting in the front passenger seat of a car on U.S. Highway 75 in Howe, Texas. He suffered two gunshot wounds to the chest, one of which went through his heart and lungs and proved fatal. The shooting followed a confrontation at a Valero gas station in Tushka, Oklahoma, after which the suspects reportedly followed Collins and his friends into Texas.

The suspects in a black Toyota Camry allegedly followed Collins’ vehicle for roughly 50 miles and fired five shots from a semi-automatic pistol into the car; two rounds struck Collins. The black Camry was last seen speeding through Van Alstyne shortly after the shooting. Multiple agencies were involved in the investigation.

Are there readers who remember seeing a black Toyota Camry in the area that day or who have any information about the chase from Oklahoma into Texas?
