Ryan Andrew Kincaid, a 28-year-old man from New Braunfels, Texas, was killed on June 19, 2017, in San Marcos. According to reports, he was shot in the chest and then run over by his own vehicle in the parking lot of the Laundry Basket laundromat on Aquarena Springs Drive at about 11:50 p.m. Investigators say the suspects met Kincaid for a drug deal that went wrong.

Authorities identified two suspects: 19-year-old Kyle Randall Sample of Three Rivers and a 14-year-old juvenile accomplice. A 38-year-old woman, Nichole Marie Moore of Beeville, was arrested and charged with endangering a child. Police located and arrested the suspects early the next morning at a nearby motel.
