Kenneth Wayne Williams, 53, was found dead on April 29, 2017, in an Abilene residence on the 2100 block of Jeanette Street. Court documents describe Williams bound and gagged with cable or tape and something forced into his mouth. He had been involved in an altercation with resident Larry Dewayne White; White admitted choking Williams, then binding and gagging him after the argument escalated, and said he slammed Williams’s head into a wall or floor.
After the incident White went to a neighbor and said there had been an accident; the neighbor called for emergency help. White was arrested, indicted by a Taylor County grand jury and held on $50,000 bond; his confession was central to the investigation and led to a murder charge.
Are there anyone in Abilene who saw or heard anything about Williams or the Jeanette Street residence on April 29, 2017?
