Willie Norman, 25, was one of four people found shot to death inside a burning car in Channelview, Texas, on December 9, 2016. The other victims were Christopher Chaney, 28, Nicholette Briscoe, 28, and Kelcii Flintroy, 19. Firefighters responding to a burning vehicle on Market Street near Dell Dale Street, just south of the East Freeway, discovered two men and two women deceased inside after the blaze was extinguished. Autopsies determined all four died from apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators say the victims were likely killed elsewhere and their bodies placed in the car before it was set on fire; detectives classified the case as a murder investigation and suspected the fire was intended to conceal the crime. The last known sighting of the group was the night before, when they visited family around 9 p.m. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has received tips over the years but reported no arrests or charges and said the investigation remains open.
