On October 16, 2016, 38-year-old Lashonda Brown was shot and killed in her Richmond, Texas, home in the 26100 block of Flinton Drive. Fort Bend County deputies responded to a call about 8:20 p.m. and found Brown deceased from gunshot wounds.

Investigators say Marlon Muse, 33, Brown’s brother-in-law, was at the house and was detained at the scene.
