Christopher Jeffries, 47, a former Port Arthur police officer, was found dead in his home on February 21, 2016, after last being seen on February 19, 2016. Investigators found him with multiple gunshot wounds in a back room; the autopsy confirmed gunshot injuries to the neck, torso, and face. His body had been wrapped in bed sheets and hidden in a bedroom.
The house showed signs of a struggle: bullet holes and blood spatter in the kitchen and a bloody knife were reported. Surveillance footage reportedly shows Jeffries entering the home on February 19 with Ethel Marie Eulian and a 3-year-old child; Eulian and the child were seen leaving later that evening without Jeffries. A 4-year-old child was later reported present in the home during the incident, though the child’s relation to Jeffries or Eulian was not disclosed.
Ethel Marie Eulian, 47, was identified as the primary suspect; police arrested and charged her after a tip led officers to force entry and discover the body. Did anyone in Port Arthur know Jeffries or the people who lived at that address and have additional information to share?
