Lorraine Isabel Carrillo Garcia, 41, of Robstown, Texas, was found shot to death at her residence in the early hours of September 18, 2015. The shooting was reported after a call about shots fired; police discovered her body when they arrived.
The primary suspect named in the investigation was her husband, 45-year-old Oscar Garcia. He reportedly had prior felony convictions, including assault with a deadly weapon, and had been involved in violent incidents dating to 2007, 2008, and 2013. After the murder he fled but was later captured and arrested; his bond was set at $750,000 and he was held without bail because of previous bond violations.
The killing and the suspect’s criminal history drew intense local attention. Anyone with information about Lorraine, her last hours, or the events leading up to September 18, 2015, is asked to come forward.
