Harry LaRose, an 18-year-old recent graduate of Thurgood Marshall High School, was shot and killed on July 20, 2015, at a house party in the 1000 block of Cove Crest Trail in Fresno, Texas. Several uninvited guests arrived at the gathering and, after being denied entry, a confrontation followed. The suspects Jaycee Jermaine Cotton, Deshawn Jamound Jackson, and an unidentified juvenile opened fire on the crowd outside the home; one bullet struck LaRose. He was taken to Pearland Medical Center and pronounced dead on arrival.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation. Cotton and Jackson were arrested and charged with murder and were held in the Fort Bend County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bonds; the juvenile suspect was detained at the Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention Center. LaRose’s family said he did well in school and worked at a local Whataburger during his senior year; the community has rallied around his family.

Did anyone at the party or nearby on July 20, 2015, see the vehicle or direction in which the shooters left?
