Miguel Guerrero, a 34-year-old Hispanic man, was shot and killed on March 8, 2015, outside Joe’s Volcano bar on Ingram Road in Humble, Texas. Witnesses said the shooting followed an altercation and reported hearing his ex-wife, Sandy Guerrero, 29, shout words that allegedly encouraged another person to shoot him. Miguel was struck in the head and died shortly after the incident.
Sandy Guerrero fled to Mexico after the shooting but later returned and surrendered to authorities; she was charged with murder for her alleged role in inciting the violence. The person who fired the fatal shot remained at large while investigators worked to identify and locate that individual. The investigation also described the death as connected to a broader pattern of violence tied to organized crime in the area.
If anyone witnessed the altercation outside Joe’s Volcano that night or has information about the shooter or related criminal activity, please share what is known.
