Nathaniel Gutierrez, a 29-year-old Hispanic man, was fatally shot on December 19, 2014, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was riding in the backseat of a car at the intersection of SPID and Carroll Lane when an assailant opened fire; Gutierrez was later dumped on the road. Surveillance footage suggested a silver passenger car may have been involved.

The Corpus Christi Police Department has investigated since the day of the killing, and Crime Stoppers offered a reward for information. Gutierrez’s mother, Melissa Flores, publicly appealed for help. Despite those efforts and publicity in local news and crime-watch programs, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.

If anyone saw activity near SPID and Carroll Lane on December 19, 2014, or knows anything about a silver passenger car seen near the scene, please come forward with information.
