Jean Carol Hoeldtke Adams, 77, died in Waco, Texas, on November 3, 2014, from a gunshot wound. Born September 11, 1937, she lived in Waco her whole life, graduated from La Vega High School and Four-C Business School, and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, refinishing antique furniture and decorating her home. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

At the time of her death Jean was receiving hospice care for leukemia. Her husband, Alvin Ray Adams Jr., was charged with murder in connection with the shooting. The charge did not reach trial because Alvin Ray Adams Jr. died before proceedings took place.

Are there readers who knew Jean or who can share information about her final days or the circumstances in Waco?
