Trey Alan Kurtz, a 20-year-old student at Blinn College, was found shot to death on October 30, 2014, in Brenham, Texas. He was discovered lying in the intersection of Seelhorst and Dark Streets near downtown Brenham with a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to the Travis County Medical Examiner in Austin for autopsy. Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot and seeing a car speed away; Kurtz did not live in the area and his car was not found nearby.

Investigators later made multiple arrests connected to the killing. On October 30, 2015, Michael Charles Dixon Jr., then described as an 18-year-old from Brenham, was arrested and charged with capital murder. Additional arrests followed, including Jordan Alexander Graves, 20, who was charged with capital murder on October 25, 2016. Two other men—identified as Deperrion Lott and J.B. Wright—and another listing for Michael Charles Dixon Jr. appear in arrest reports with varying bond amounts and hold conditions.

Did anyone in Brenham or at Blinn College have information about Trey’s movements on October 30, 2014?
