Warren Fields IV, a 39-year-old African American software engineer from Rosharon, Texas, was fatally shot in the head while standing in his front yard on September 30, 2014. Two men arrived in a pearl-white Lexus with dark-tinted windows; one man got out, made contact with Fields, and shot him while the other stayed in the vehicle. Investigators described the man who exited the car as a black male about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, roughly 250 pounds, wearing a blue shirt and jeans.

Authorities in Brazoria County have not determined a motive. Family, neighbors, and coworkers said Fields was well liked and had no known enemies. No arrests have been made; the sheriff’s office searched for two men believed to be involved and has offered a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. The shooting left behind his wife Keisha and their three daughters, Kamryn, Lauren, and Maiya.

Are there any readers who knew Warren or who might have seen the pearl-white Lexus in the Rosharon area on September 30, 2014?
