I can't stop thinking about the sheer vulnerability of convenience store workers like Mr. Sadruddin. They're out there every single day, serving their community, often during late hours and in tough neighborhoods. It's a job that makes them targets, and this case is such a tragic reminder of that reality. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through. Losing a loved one in such a violent, senseless act must leave a pain that doesn't easily heal. The fact that one of the attackers was only 13 is deeply unsettling. How does someone so young become involved in such a heinous crime? It speaks volumes about the need for community support and intervention programs. There has to be some way to reach these kids before they take a path that destroys their lives and the lives of others. My thoughts are with Mr. Sadruddin's family, who undoubtedly continue to mourn this horrific loss. They deserve peace and justice.
