I've been following the Daniel Avila case closely and one aspect that really stands out to me is his bravery. From what I've read, Daniel was trying to break up a fight that he wasn’t even part of. It's gut-wrenching to think that such a brave act cost him his life. It’s a reminder of his character—how he was willing to step in and help others, even in a dangerous situation. It's often easy to overlook the courage it takes to intervene in conflicts, and I truly admire his selflessness. My heart goes out to his family, especially his young children; the community has lost a truly noble soul. I hope there are more protections put in place so others do not have to face such loss.
