Juan Florentino Ibarra Jr., a 29-year-old Hispanic man from San Angelo, Texas, was found dead in his living room on December 12, 2008, with at least one gunshot wound. San Angelo police responded to reports of gunshots about 1:20 a.m. and pronounced him dead shortly after arrival. Investigators believe the killer knew Ibarra and that more than one person may have been involved. Witnesses saw a red or maroon passenger car in the alley beside the home soon after the shooting.

The motive remains unknown; Ibarra was described as well-liked with few enemies and left behind two young daughters. The case has been placed with the San Angelo Police Department’s Cold Case Section. No arrests have been made, and investigators continue to seek anyone who had contact with Ibarra on the evening of December 11 or the early morning of December 12, 2008, or who saw vehicles or people at the residence.

Did anyone see a red or maroon passenger car in that alley on the night of December 11–12, 2008, or have information about who was with Juan that night?
