Helen Gandelsman, a 46-year-old woman of Ukrainian ethnicity, was killed in her Seabrook, Texas home on March 23, 2004. She was survived by her husband Vadim, daughter Marina, mother Rebecca, and sister Natalie, and was buried at Forest Park East Cemetery on April 1, 2004.

Her death prompted a murder investigation in which her husband Vadim was identified as the prime suspect and was charged. Vadim was released on a $30,000 bond; on May 28, 2004 he was found dead in a hotel room from an apparent suicide. He had not given statements to police and had refused to be interviewed without an attorney. Investigators continued to examine forensic evidence after his death, and the motive for Helen’s killing remained unknown.

Many questions about what happened to Helen remain unresolved. If anyone knew Helen or has information about her death, please come forward.
