Hey everyone. I've been diving into the Sally Ann McNelly and Shane Paul Stewart case lately, and my heart really goes out to their families and the San Angelo community. I've been thinking about the rumor regarding their involvement with a Satanic cult. It's wild how the Satanic panic of the '80s might have influenced how people perceived this case, right? I wonder how much the alleged cult connection might have either hindered or skewed the investigation. It's such a sensitive angle, especially considering that they even turned in a stolen gun linked to the cult. That's got to be a baffling piece of evidence for investigators. I really hope that with ongoing efforts and modern investigation techniques, fresh light can be shed on this tragic mystery.
