Pamela Kay Hudgins was 21 when she was murdered on May 16, 1983, in Weatherford, Texas. She was a relative of Danny Paul Bible’s wife. Bible, known as The Ice Pick Killer, broke into Hudgins’ apartment and, unaware that Hudgins was being visited by her friend Tracy Zan Powers and Powers’ 4-month-old son Justin, proceeded to bludgeon all three to death. He placed their bodies in the trunk of his car and drove to nearby Mineral Wells, discarding the bodies at different locations.

Bible fled Texas, abandoning his wife’s car at an airport in Midland, and his movements for the following months were not immediately known. He was eventually apprehended in December 1983 in Belgrade, Montana, and later convicted of multiple murders, including those of Hudgins, Tracy Zan Powers, and Justin Powers. Anyone who knew Pamela Kay Hudgins or was in Weatherford or Mineral Wells in May 1983 with information is asked to come forward.
