Jamille Harrington, also known as Jamie Harrington, was a 29-year-old white woman found dead on November 14, 1993, in an alley within a commercial area of Culver City, California. Her death was later tied to Michael Hughes, who was arrested in December 1993 and ultimately convicted for the strangulation murders of several women, including Harrington.

Hughes’ crimes spanned multiple victims; he was convicted in 1998 for four strangulation murders and later linked by DNA to additional killings. Investigators say his victims frequently included women vulnerable because of substance abuse or involvement in prostitution. Harrington’s case is one of those that helped establish the pattern and contributed to Hughes’ convictions and sentences.

Does anyone have memories of the area in Culver City or information about Jamille Harrington that could add detail to her life and last known movements?
