Hey everyone, I've been following the Carlos Perez case, and one aspect that really stood out to me was the connection between Henry Lee Jones and the day labor agency where he allegedly met Carlos. It makes me wonder how many victims might have crossed paths with Jones through these kinds of agencies. It's terrifying to think that someone might be looking for an honest day's work and unknowingly encounter a predator. Carlos’ story is haunting, especially considering how young he was and how he had his whole life ahead of him, filled with his passions for golf and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. His father’s words about holding onto those items to remember him is incredibly moving. You can’t help but feel for the family, who have had to live without answers for so long. I keep thinking about the precautions people should take when interacting with strangers, even in seemingly safe environments. It’s just so sad that such an encounter could lead to something so tragic. My heart goes out to Carlos' family and friends who are still dealing with the aftermath all these years later. Would love to hear your thoughts on this angle of the case. Are there any similar cases where a meeting like this led to such a tragedy? Stay safe out there.
