Tamara Catrice Fisher was 15 when she and her 14-year-old friend Lynette Bibbs went to a teen nightclub in Houston on February 1, 1996. The two were last seen leaving the area and heading toward a motel. Their bodies were found two days later, on February 3, 1996, off a rural dirt road near Cleveland in Liberty County, Texas.

Tamara Fisher was found fully clothed with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Lynette Bibbs was discovered partially clothed with two gunshot wounds to the back of her head and an additional gunshot wound to her thigh. Both deaths point to a calculated, violent attack; motives remain unknown.

No arrests have been announced and the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office continues to seek information. Tamara’s death is listed among cases associated with the area known as the Texas Killing Fields, though no definitive links between cases have been established. If anyone has information about Tamara or Lynette’s last known movements or contacts, please share it with investigators.
