Pamela Woodring, 34, was found dead on June 4, 2003, by farm workers in a rural part of Kiowa County, Oklahoma. Her naked body was submerged in water beneath a bridge; investigators reportedly found no personal belongings at the recovery site. An official cause of death was never determined because no outward trauma was apparent.
She is believed to have gone missing sometime after May 2, 2003. Woodring had recently moved to the Lawton area from Guymon and had been released from prison shortly before her death; she was a mother of three and had reportedly been trying to turn her life around. No arrests or suspects have been publicly named in her case, which is often discussed alongside several unsolved Lawton-area killings of women from 1999 to 2003 where victims were found nude and near water, though no official link to Woodring’s death has been announced.
Did anyone in the Lawton or Guymon areas have contact with Pamela or see her between early May and June 4, 2003?
