Michelle Rene Dickerman was 41 when she was last seen in Lacey, Washington, on April 28, 2001. According to her boyfriend’s account, he drove her to a Fred Meyer that afternoon between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.; after an argument he said he left her at the store and she was never seen or heard from again.
She was described as a white female, 5 feet 4 inches, about 130 pounds, with blonde hair, blue eyes, eyeglasses, uneven teeth, pierced ears and tattoos of a rose and a moon on each ankle. She was reportedly wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Michelle and her boyfriend were both known to be heavy drinkers at the time, and her family says it was highly uncharacteristic for her to disappear without warning.
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and has since created a cold case and missing persons unit to review unsolved cases like hers. Few public details or significant leads have emerged over the years. Did anyone in the Lacey area see Michelle at or near the Fred Meyer on April 28, 2001?
