Darian Stone, 32, of Fremont, California, was shot and killed in Oakland on November 1, 2011, shortly after attending a Halloween party. Oakland police released photos of four women believed to have been with Stone that night, hoping identification of those individuals would clarify what happened. The department has sought witnesses, but no suspects have been arrested.

The sequence places Stone at a social event on Halloween and then fatally shot in Oakland the next day; beyond the police appeal for help and the released photos, few public details are available about the circumstances. If anyone recognizes the women in the released photos or has information about Stone’s whereabouts that night, please reach out to the Oakland Police Department.
