Tina Mae Jones, 28, was last seen on January 1, 2000, in Winter Park, Florida. Before she disappeared she had been in a violent relationship with a professional football player from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had suffered physical abuse that left significant injuries, including a ruptured breast implant; she declined medical treatment and did not report the abuse. On the day she vanished she visited her family, left behind her passport, driver’s license, and modeling portfolio, and told her mother she would never see her again before returning to her boyfriend in Tampa. Her 1986 red Plymouth Laser has never been found.

The family suspects the boyfriend may have been involved. The case remains unsolved and the family has submitted DNA samples in hopes of identifying remains if they are ever recovered. If anyone knew Tina, her routines, or saw that Plymouth Laser around January 1, 2000, please come forward with information.
