Did anyone else hear about the tragic loss of Ever Gonzalez Marin? It's so incredibly sad. I’ve been following the case and one detail that isn’t being discussed as much is the impact on the community where he worked. As a caretaker in a workshop, Ever must have developed close bonds with his coworkers and those he cared for. It's not just his family in Nicaragua that’s affected, but also those in Palmdale who knew him. I can only imagine the trauma they’re experiencing knowing such violence took place so close by.
It’s terrifying to think that migrant workers, who come seeking better opportunities, are facing such dangers. My heart goes out to Ever's family and to all who knew him.
