I can't stop thinking about how deeply this senseless tragedy has affected the Homestead community. I grew up playing basketball at parks just like Naranja, and it’s devastating to hear that something as innocent as a game could escalate to such violence. This incident has really made me reflect on the importance of addressing conflict peacefully. It's essential to teach our youth about de-escalation, rather than allowing emotions to take over. I genuinely feel for Flavio Morales' family and friends, who must be going through unimaginable pain right now. We must come together as a community to support them during this incredibly difficult time and work towards preventing future violence. If anyone else was there that day and witnessed something, I urge you to reach out to the authorities. Every small detail could make a difference in finding justice for Flavio.
