Rod-Riez Dameyian Tripp, a 30-year-old Black man, was shot and killed at his workplace in Greensboro, Georgia on April 4, 2025. The shooting occurred around noon in the lower processing warehouse at Plantation Quail, a meat processing plant on Georgia Highway 15 South. First responders found Tripp gravely wounded and he was transported by ambulance to Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m.

A co-worker, 42-year-old Dimas Sanchez Ruiz, was located in the business parking lot after the shooting and taken into custody without incident. A 9mm handgun believed to be the weapon was recovered at the scene. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist. Reported motive in the immediate aftermath was bullying, with Ruiz admitting he shot Tripp because he said Tripp had been picking on him.

Does anyone have information about either man, or about security and staff interactions at Plantation Quail around that time?
