On the evening of Friday, March 28, 2025, in the 100 block of Buford Drive in Warner Robins, Georgia, 21-year-old Shaquez Head, a Black or African American male, was shot in the head just before 6 p.m. Emergency responders took Head to a local hospital in critical condition; he died of his injuries on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

Warner Robins Police investigators say 22-year-old Nicholas Jenkins arrived at the scene, shot Head, and fled. Jenkins was arrested shortly after the shooting and has been charged with homicide, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. A second person who was with Jenkins was taken into custody but later released after investigators determined they had no prior knowledge of the shooting.

Police have not publicly disclosed a motive and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warner Robins authorities.
