Reginald Sherard Kendrick, 41, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the backyard of a residence on Ernest Street in Macon, Georgia. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting occurred shortly before 7:45 p.m. on February 23, 2025. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures but Kendrick was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family members described Kendrick as loving and protective. His mother, Darlene Clark, said this was the second son she has lost to gun violence; his brother Vincent Clark, sister Latresa Thomas, and girlfriend Tanya Williams also spoke about his devotion to family and their grief. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office opened a homicide investigation and asked the public for information. As of the days following the shooting, no arrests had been made and no suspects were publicly identified.
Does anyone have information about Kendrick, the Ernest Street area that evening, or saw anything that could help investigators?
