Kristin Brock, 41, and her husband James Brock were found dead in their Carrollton, Georgia home on February 20, 2025, both suffering apparent gunshot wounds. The couple were discovered in bed by their children; there were no signs of forced entry and nothing reported missing, a detail that initially deepened the mystery for investigators and family.

Authorities later said the investigation involved multiple agencies, including the FBI and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab. Nearly five months after the deaths, investigators arrested the Brocks’ 17-year-old daughter, Sarah Grace Patrick, who was living in the home at the time. She was charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault and was the person who called 911 after a younger sister found the parents unresponsive. The motive has not been released and the probe remains ongoing.
