A March 22, 2025 shooting in a crowded Westgate Mall parking area in Brockton, Massachusetts left 15-year-old Tymari Albertson dead. The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. near the Chipotle and Starbucks and followed an altercation; first responders found two people with gunshot wounds. Albertson was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and pronounced dead. The other victim, 18-year-old Cevannah Alvarez, was flown to a Boston hospital and also died.

The victims were not related. Albertson attended Champion High School in the Brockton Public Schools district, which expressed deep sadness over the loss to community violence. In the days after the shooting authorities identified 22-year-old Davinci Leonard of Brockton as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with two counts of murder plus firearms offenses. Investigators say witness interviews and surveillance footage linked a fight between Leonard and Albertson to the shooting; a firearm was reportedly found in nearby bushes.

Did anyone in the Brockton area see or hear anything that night that could help investigators?
