Justin Keefe Bradley, a 39-year-old Black man from Crystal Springs, Mississippi, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of December 31, 2024. The shooting occurred on Beverly Circle; Bradley was struck three times and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:42 a.m. Authorities did not immediately disclose what led to the shooting or whether Bradley had been specifically targeted.

Bradley was born November 6, 1985, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital, grew up in Crystal Springs, attended local schools including Ms. Sandy’s Christian School, and worked as an electrician’s helper. He was the father of two sons and was remembered by relatives for taking pride in supporting them and attending their sporting events.

Investigators appealed to the public for information in the hours after the killing. The case later led to the arrest of Joshua Green, who was taken into custody on January 12, 2025; reports announcing that arrest did not specify the exact charge or provide details about motive or any relationship between Bradley and Green.
