William Horne, 68, disappeared from Bellport, New York, on January 15, 1991. He was described as a Black man, 5 feet 9 inches, about 150 pounds, with graying, balding hair and brown eyes. When last seen he reportedly wore a blue flannel shirt, jeans, and blue and white sneakers.

Horne was renting a home and, according to accounts, ran out of the house after learning that his landlord had died and was never seen again. No witnesses have placed him after he left the residence, and the Suffolk County Police Department opened an investigation that produced no public leads. Very little information about his life or state of mind at the time has been released, and the official record ends on that January day.

Does anyone who lived in Bellport in 1991 remember seeing William or have any information about where he might have gone?
