Rolando Donta McConnell, a 40-year-old Black man from Muskogee, Oklahoma, was shot multiple times on the evening of March 8, 2025, on a residential stretch near West 24th Street and Topeka Avenue. Police were called about 6:09 p.m., found him with numerous gunshot wounds in the street, and he was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital. Investigators say the shooter fired a barrage of rounds at close range and then fled in a white Malibu observed by witnesses.

The Muskogee shooting connected to an earlier incident that night in nearby Oktaha, where deputies responded to Five Star Recycling and found two women shot; Amie Maxwell was killed. Authorities identified 26-year-old Aaron O’Neal Wilson as a suspect in the Oktaha shootings, and witness reports of a distinctive white Malibu linked the two scenes.

Obituaries and memorial pages list McConnell’s birth year as 1984 and describe him as a local resident remembered for working with his hands and a calm, generous nature; his family held a visitation on March 21, 2025. Does anyone have information about Rolando, his movements that evening, or witnesses who saw the white Malibu?
