Quandre Roshawn Weeks, 32, was fatally shot on the evening of February 28, 2025, in the 1800 block of North Berkeley Boulevard just south of New Hope Road in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Officers arrived after reports of gunfire at about 5:21 p.m. and found Weeks with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 42-year-old Goldsboro man was also shot and initially taken to a hospital in a personal vehicle, then airlifted to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, where he remains in critical condition. Police say the shooting arose from an altercation between the two men and have described the incident as isolated with no ongoing threat to the public.
No arrests have been announced. Weeks’ family has started a fundraiser to cover funeral expenses; his mother, Shirley Weeks, said this is her second son lost to gun violence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Goldsboro Police Department or Goldsboro Wayne County CrimeStoppers.
