A road-rage confrontation in North Charleston turned deadly on April 24, 2025. Kristoffer Wilson, a 50-year-old White/Caucasian man from Summerville, was shot in the torso after an argument at the intersection of Ingleside Drive and Zeppelin Drive. He was found with critical injuries in the roadway, taken to Trident Medical Center, and died shortly before 1 p.m.

Witnesses say the dispute began when another driver, identified as Elliott Antoin Huggins, confronted Wilson about his driving and threw a cup of coffee at Wilson’s vehicle and then at Wilson after he exited his car. The confrontation escalated when Wilson reportedly grabbed the passenger-side mirror of Huggins’ vehicle, and Huggins is alleged to have shot Wilson.

Huggins was taken into custody and initially charged with attempted murder; the charge was upgraded to murder after Wilson’s death. He also faces a weapon-possession-during-a-violent-crime charge and is being held without bond. Does anyone have information about the events at Ingleside Drive and Zeppelin Drive that day?
