Jimmy Allen Ramey was 31 and a resident of Seneca, South Carolina. His family reported him missing after he failed to pick up his wife from work on February 18, 2025. He worked as a DoorDash driver at the time.
Ramey’s truck was located in Stephens County, Georgia, near Toccoa. Officers there tried to stop the vehicle; the driver fled on foot after the truck stopped and escaped. On the morning of February 26 his body was found in a wooded area behind a home on Brown Road in Anderson County. The Anderson County Coroner determined he died of multiple gunshot wounds and ruled the death a homicide.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office identified 18-year-old Daeshawn Marquize Wilson as a suspect and obtained warrants charging him with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Wilson was last seen in the Utica area of Seneca and may be in Northeast Georgia; he is considered armed and dangerous.
Did anyone in Seneca or the surrounding area see Jimmy or his truck between February 18 and February 26, 2025?
