Izaiah Fryer, 19, was shot and killed inside his home on May Avenue in Shelton, Washington, on the evening of February 3, 2025.
Investigators identified two suspects: 18-year-old Adrian E. Martinez-Lawson and 19-year-old Jack W. Evans. Court documents allege Martinez-Lawson fired the fatal shot while Evans was present. Witnesses, including Fryer’s mother, helped identify both men with the aid of surveillance footage. The pair fled on foot; by February 4 one suspect was taken into custody after a barricade and SWAT standoff at a metal shop on Johns Prairie Road and the other was arrested later that day without incident. Both were charged with second-degree murder and first-degree burglary.
Fryer’s family includes his mother and four siblings. The community held a memorial at the Island Lake boat launch attended by more than 100 people, and several fundraisers were organized to assist the family with funeral expenses. Does anyone have information about Izaiah’s last hours or the area around May Avenue that night?
