Hannah Faith Blanchard, 23, of Blue Ridge, Texas, was found dead inside a trailer home on North State Highway 78 on March 17, 2025, with a gunshot wound to the chest. She was reported to be two-and-a-half months pregnant and is mourned by family who describe her as a vibrant person who loved her four-year-old daughter, Hazel.

Authorities say Hannah’s 35-year-old boyfriend, Carl Stanley Chrisenberry, called 911 and told them he had accidentally shot her. Investigators apparently found that explanation not credible; Chrisenberry was arrested at the scene and charged with capital murder of multiple persons, a count that includes Hannah and her unborn child. Bond was set at $1.5 million and the Collin County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.

Family members say Hazel witnessed the shooting and gave a detailed statement to investigators, and relatives have recounted past concerning and aggressive remarks by Chrisenberry. A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral costs and to support Hazel.

If anyone knew Hannah, Hazel, or has information about what happened on March 17, please come forward.
