Craig Eugene Alexander was last seen in Burlington, Vermont, on January 28, 1985, after returning from his parents’ home in Berlin, New Hampshire, to resume college. He reportedly parked a green Mazda in the 300 block of St. Paul Street near the Lane Press offices, walked a few doors to visit a friend, and left that friend’s residence at about 11:00 p.m.; he was never heard from again.

Four days later the Mazda was found buried in snow where he had parked it. Family members did not believe he would voluntarily disappear, especially leaving his vehicle behind, and authorities have reportedly considered the possibility he was taken against his will. He is described as a white male with blond hair and blue eyes, about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and roughly 150 pounds, with a beard and mustache at the time and wearing eyeglasses and a blue parka with white lining and white trim.

The case remains listed publicly as a missing person and the attached data does not indicate he has been found. If anyone saw Craig in Burlington the night of January 28, 1985, or knows anything about his disappearance, please come forward.
