I've been following the Juan Herrera and Raquel Estrada case closely, and what stands out to me is how quickly initial judgments were made based on circumstantial evidence. It's deeply concerning how Eder was arrested and charged so swiftly, only for the case to take an entirely different direction later on. I can't even begin to imagine the stress and trauma he must have endured, not only losing his family in such a tragic way but also being accused of their murders. His exoneration is a relief, but it doesn't erase the nightmare he lived through. It also makes me think about all the cases out there that might have similar oversights. It's truly unsettling. My heart goes out to Eder and any other families affected by such errors. How many lives are altered due to quick judgments?
