Linda Denise Wingate Price was a 34-year-old single mother of two living in Jackson, Mississippi, when she disappeared after Halloween 1995. Family members last tried to reach her on Halloween night; when no one answered her apartment door and a few days passed with no word, she was reported missing.

On November 3, 1995, Linda’s family found her dead in the bathtub of her Jackson apartment. Investigators determined she had been stabbed multiple times and her throat slashed. There were no signs of forced entry and the apartment door had been locked from the inside, prompting detectives to suspect she knew her attacker. Her boyfriend, Glen Rogers, was missing at the time.

Rogers was later arrested elsewhere and became linked to multiple killings in other states; he was not tried for Price’s murder. Linda’s family later attended his execution in Florida. Does anyone have memories of Linda, her life in Jackson, or information about her final days?
